Day 1 - The Travel Day...

After waking up at the crack of dawn, we hopped on the bus with mr smith and his podcasts and drove the tedious 2.5 hour journey to good old gatwick. After having a good old window shop in duty free, we realised that our gates were closed but with spirits high we charmed our way through and sat for an hour in the plane waiting to take off! When we finally in naples we were lucky enough to fine two very helpful mini bus drivers who took us to the hotel. Once at the hotel we had a quick change into swimwear and headed off to the free beach, soon to find that it was closed! Our helpful mini bus friend zoomed us off to the pool which to our surprise was also closed. Thank goodness for the drivers as they found another beach which we spent a wonderful 3 hours tanning on the beautiful black sand (dont worry none of us was burnt!!) Following our amazing beach trip we went back to the hotel to shower and play cards, ready for supper, dressed in our finest! We were all so starving so our supper tasted even more delectable than we had hoped (Yummyyy). After supper we made a quick stop at the local tabac and bought some midnight munchies!!!! (dont worry we didnt buy any vapes or cigarettes: how disgusting!!) We're off to bed now and can't wait for what tomorrow holds!!
